She assisted Robert Moog in the creation of the commercial synthesizer.
She recorded the first album ("Switched-On Bach") of classical music using the synthesizer.
"Switched-On Bach" was the most sold classical album in history.
Using her synthesizer she made the soundtrack of Stanley Kubrick’s "Clockwork Orange" (1972) and "The Shining" (1980).
10 years later, she composed the soundtrack for "Tron".
She signed her first 6 records by the name of Walter Carlos.
After the sex change, she became Wendy Carlos.
