Last year Nontzeflash Animation Competition (www.nontzeflash.com) had a great reception: 250 people from 34 different countries got together. The second edition is already being prepared. The Nontzeberri website has also showed a new competition of short films, Nontzefilm I.

JOHN DAVIES (Bilbao Arte Eder Museum, until January 23)

MEM (Bilbao until december 18)
This festival gathers many artistic activities (music, films, dancing, theatre...) It joins together the past, the present and the future of this city. It will be held in different places in Bilbao and apart from national artists, local ones also take part in it.
MANDERLEY
The Lars von Trier brothers have just finished filming "Manderley". In this film, they tell us a story about the slaves in the south of the USA in the 30's. They filmed it in Sweden. The critics said that taking about the USA without knowing the country was quite inconsequent. They answered: "Americans have been making movies about things they don't know for 100 years".
