latex for fun
Designer Máximo Tuja found a balloon in the street. He picked it up, took a marker out of his pocket and painted a face on it. He showed it to his friends and they all had a good laugh at the balloon. That simple, amusing little piece of nonsense germinated into theLatex for Fun project. Different designers from all over the world (135 artists from 20 countries) were asked to come up with original ideas with any object made from Latex. The idea behind the project is to highlight the simple, refreshing side to toys in contrast to the current ever-sofashionable designer toys (elitist dolls that make no sense artistically or price-wise.)
