The soinumapa project is based on sound recordings. The objective is to record environmental sounds an make the recording freely available. Recordings made in specific places and at specific times make these real sounds available to us. Even if we don«t pay much attention to sounds, there are many interesting proposals connected with the sense of hearing. For example, on www.soundtransit.nl you can hear a journey«s sounds after choosing the place to start from and the destination. Soinumapa is open and anybody can listen to the sounds or upload their own sounds onto this online project.
