The III Okupgraf Meet takes place during the second six months of the year 2003. This project, in association with Arteleku, have just started their "Posters on how to survive in the First World". TATTOO FASHION
Maybe because people don't feel like adorning their skin with tattoos or they just don't like them, flash tattoos of tattoo images emblazoned across t-shirts are becoming more and more popular. You can come across anything from figure-hugging raver t-shirts with tribal designs to Tentaciones fashion victims totting old school American tattoos . NOKIA'S N-GAGE
Nokia used to make telephones. These days you can do almost anything with their wee gadgets. Look at their N-gage: listen to the radio or mp3s, receive e-mails, constantly change you five best mates' info and play with cryptographs and photos. That sounds like the biz, but this contraption even has a game console. The games come in the memory cards (or we'll download them off the net eh!) and they're advertising games in 3-D. We'll see about that one. It's intense like all the other new generation communication yokes, but the batteries don't last very long.
THE BEASTIE BOYS ARE BACK!
The Beastie Boys are hard at work on their sixth album. It's been five years since they released "Hello Nasty" and they reckon it's time for another dose of what they got. You can hear their anti-war song ("In a world gone mad") at their official web page while you wait for the new disc. Those of us with a free e-mail account at any web page are well used to the avalanche of ads that is quite common to these places: discounts for the dentist's, university degrees, Russian wives, viagra, life insurance and our latest favourite... gadgets to enlarge your penis. There are loads of them: air-pumps. creams, teas and a host of other thingamajigs. They say size doesn't matter but we get the feeling that that's not the general buzz out there.

CORTO FEATURE
At the beginning of the XX Century, Russia was the dividing line between western and eastern civilisations. Corto Maltes crosses this vast stretch of land in search of treasure. After several clumsy adjustments, we finally get to see Hugo Pratt's alter ego splash around in irony and cynicism on the big screen.
