Mugatxoan
Mugatxoan will be held from June 12 to July 22. Blanca Calvo and Ion Munduate coordinate this project and it is addressed to the artists that are making their works in dance, performance and plastic arts. It is organized for the artists that want to search new ways and codes. There is also some place for new artists and projects to be specially showed in this event. The basis and personality of this project were being established in the previous editions and have always been innovative. There are two axes in this personality: On the one hand, to be a project that considers the whole action of creating. The artist works on the space between the creation and the result by meditating, analyzing and transforming that space. On the other hand, there is the open personality that the name reflects. The project is fulfilled in Arteleku and Serralves foundation in Porto. The fact of going beyond the limit is something enriching for the creativity process of the artist.
